GE HYDRAN 201Ti | Mark IV | Single Channel Controller Gas Analyzer. It is essential for DGA monitoring of transformers and understanding their health is critical to having a reliable network. When the insulation system of a transformer is overloaded, it produces gas dissolved in the oil. Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) in Oil is considered the best indicator of developing faults.

100% responsive composite gas sensor sensitive to Hydrogen (general fault gas) and Carbon Dioxide (overheated paper).
LCD display and standard RS-485 connection. It supports Modbus or Hydran protocol.
Vacuum pumping membrane and system self-check, self-diagnostic function
Local and remote alarms are set to predetermined levels or rates. Gas readings and trends can be viewed remotely via serial port communication
Easy to install on a single valve. No moving parts, pumps and additional piping are required. No field calibration is required.

The Hydran™ 201Ti is a small and easy to set up continuous dissolved gas analysis (DGA) monitor. It provides basic information used by IEEE® Standard C57.104 and can be used as an important first line of defense for your unit transformers to get early warning of fault conditions and minimize the risk of unplanned downtime. The 201Ti uses fuel cell technology (described in the standard as a fixed instrument - Method 3) and is now available in two options: the world-renowned "Hydran Composite Gas" sensor, which is 100% responsive to hydrogen and is also sensitive to carbon monoxide, acetylene and ethylene; or the more basic "Hydrogen Only" sensor, which focuses on hydrogen generation. Because the monitor is mounted on a single valve and uses dynamic oil sampling, there is no need for pumps or additional piping to connect to different valves. Due to its simple functionality and easy to understand information, the 201Ti has been one of the preferred monitors for many years and is one of the most installed of all DGA monitors.
