The IC693DNM200 is a DeviceNet Master Module. This module is a single slot communication module that is part of the 90-30 Series Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) platform, formerly manufactured by General Electric Fanuc and now part of Emerson Automation. Each slave device can transmit up to 255 bytes of input data and 255 bytes of output data from the master, and up to 3972 bytes of input data and 3972 bytes of output data to the master module. Additionally, the module can communicate with up to 63 slave devices, each of which can be assigned up to two (2) I/O stations, for a total of 126 I/O connections. The data connections supported and configurable by the module are Polling, Strobe, Cyclic or COS. This DeviceNet Master module also supports Explicit Messaging, Unconnected Message Manager (UCMM) and one (1) Proxy connection per slave unit. Additionally, the module can operate in dual mode as both a Master and a Slave simultaneously.

The fault behavior in the event of a communication interruption can be configured to provide an acceptable system reaction in the event of the above errors. The module also has upgradeable firmware, allowing module updates and bug fixes to be downloaded through the RS232 service port.
