working principle
Pulse positioning: relying on pulses for positioning, rotating the angle corresponding to one pulse received to achieve displacement. For each angle of rotation of the motor, a corresponding number of pulses are emitted, forming a closed loop with the received pulses to accurately control the motor rotation and achieve high-precision positioning, with a positioning accuracy of up to 0.001mm.
Principle of synchronous motor: The motors used in KUKA are mostly AC synchronous motors. The stator three-phase winding is supplied with three-phase symmetrical current, and the rotor excitation winding is supplied with DC current. The stator generates a rotating magnetic field, while the rotor generates a stationary magnetic field. When the number of magnetic poles is equal, the rotor is subjected to the magnetic pulling force of the stator magnetic field and rotates synchronously with the rotating magnetic field of the stator.
