Basic structure
Cylinder barrel: A cylindrical metal component that guides the piston to perform linear reciprocating motion, which is the main body of the cylinder. It is generally made of high-quality metal materials and has high strength and wear resistance.
Piston: A component that performs reciprocating motion inside a cylinder, connected to an external load through a piston rod, converting the pressure energy of compressed air into mechanical energy and driving the load to move.
Piston rod: a rod connecting the piston and external load, which bears the force transmitted by the piston and transfers it to the load. It is usually made of high-strength steel and surface treated to improve its wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
Cylinder head: Installed at both ends of the cylinder barrel, it is used to seal the cylinder barrel and fix other components, while also supporting the piston rod and guiding.
Seals: Used to prevent compressed air leakage and ensure the efficiency and performance of the cylinder. Common seals include sealing rings, gaskets, etc.
Working principle: Using compressed air as the power source, when compressed air enters the cylinder through the intake port, it pushes the piston to make linear motion inside the cylinder, thereby driving the piston rod to extend or retract, achieving the driving of external loads.
