Working principle: The sensor and EPRO preamplifier form an oscillator. When the sensor probe is close to the metal object being measured, eddy currents are generated, which cause the amplitude of the oscillator to decay as it approaches. The decay amplitude is proportional to the distance between the sensor and the object being measured. Before leaving the factory, calibration material 42CrMo4 has been used to perform linear calibration on the sensor and EPRO preamplifier set. During installation, there is usually no need for further calibration. Users only need to adjust the air gap between the sensor and the measuring surface to obtain the desired signal from the output of the EPRO preamplifier.
Application areas: Mainly used for vibration monitoring of key equipment such as turbomachinery, gas compressors, hydro turbine machinery, blowers, etc. It can measure parameters such as shaft vibration, eccentricity, thrust (axial displacement), differential expansion, valve position, and air gap to achieve real-time monitoring and fault diagnosis of equipment operation status, ensuring safe and stable operation of equipment.
