Summary of Maintenance and Debugging of Yaskawa G7 Inverter
1、 Debugging:
With PG card: A1-02 (control mode selection)
=1 or 3 (with PG card control)
Change to 0 (no PG card, V/F control)
(Change control mode parameters after unplugging PG card)
The alarm that frequently occurs after changing the control mode: H1-06 (function selection and setting of terminal S8) is changed to F (blocking the function of this terminal). Change H3-05 (multi-functional analog input terminal A3 function selection and setting) to 1F (disable this terminal function). CPF06 (selection card connection failure). After changing the alarm parameters, power off and restart. If there is still an alarm, upload the parameters to restore the factory settings.
Parameter copying function:
o3-01= 0 : Normal action
1 : READ (frequency converter → operation panel)
2 : COPY (operation panel → frequency converter)
When parameters are not allowed to be read, the parameters should be changed:
o3-02 = 0 : Prohibit Read
Change to 1: Allow READ (allow parameter reading)
Restore factory settings:
A1-03=2220 (initialization)
2、 Common problems with frequency converters
1: The indicator light is on after power on, but there is no display on the operation panel.
This situation is mostly caused by the EA (six pin field-effect transistor, printed as EA) next to the 3844 power chip for management display being damaged. Replace the EA and carefully inspect the surface mount resistors around the 3844 chip.
2: No output during power on operation.
In most cases, the EA field-effect transistor next to the 3844 chip that supplies power to the driving circuit is broken. After replacing the EA, check whether the voltage at the 3844 power supply pin is 12V and whether the static voltage of each driving circuit is the same.
3: Pay attention to the wiring of the driver board
