GE F650BABF2G0LOSHE Feeder protection equipment
GE F650BABF2G0LOSHE is a multifunctional power protection relay with multiple functions such as overcurrent protection, overload protection, ground fault protection and short circuit protection. It is used to ensure circuit safety and prevent equipment damage and dangerous accidents.
Product Introduction
GE F650BABF2G0LOSHE Feeder Management Relay. The GE F650 is a digital protection relay designed for protection, control and automation of feeders or related applications. It provides high-speed protection and control for feeder management and bay control applications. The F650 incorporates industry-leading communication technology, making it one of the simplest and most flexible feeder protection relays available for use on both new and legacy infrastructure. It includes up to three communication ports that can operate simultaneously, and redundant ports are also available for special applications. The F650 supports popular industry-leading standard protocols for easy and direct integration into electrical SCADA and HMI systems.
F650BABF2G0LOSHE Relay Protection Devices Digital Rack Controllers F650BABF2G0LOSHE The Multilin F650 is designed for protection, control and automation of feeders or related applications. The Multilin F650 Feeder Protection Relay provides high-speed protection and control for feeder management and bay control applications and features a large LCD and single-line diagram for building bay monitoring and control for a variety of feeder arrangements, including ring bus, double breakers or breakers and half breakers.
Distributed Generation (DG) Interconnection Protection, Including Active and Passive Islanding Prevention
The F650 provides high-speed protection, feeder management and bay control applications, including overcurrent protection, instantaneous and time overcurrent functions for phase, neutral, ground/sensitive ground and negative sequence currents. A variety of time curves are available, including IEEE/ANSI®, IEC A/B/C/Long Delay/Short Delay Inverse, GE IAC, I2t, Timed Rectification curves and four user-programmable curves. Directional monitoring is available during phases, including neutral, ground and sensitive ground currents. The neutral/ground directional element can be programmed to operate on zero sequence voltage, ground sensitive current or dual polarization.
Over/Under Frequency Protection
The F650 provides a six-level over- and under-frequency element improvement network based on voltage or frequency (grid) stability load shedding techniques. It also allows for backup protection and tripping circuit breakers to directly protect feeders and other frequency sensitive electrical equipment. The frequency change rate protection (df/dt) element protection included in the F650 protects against disturbances caused by load shedding. Zero sequence directional applications of the power meter include ground fault protection in solidly grounded transmission networks, grounded/ungrounded/resistance grounded/resonant grounded distribution networks. The zero sequence directional element of this power meter responds to zero sequence power by specifying the characteristic angle of the voltage and current components in a specified direction. The angle can be set in all four quadrants and the power can be either active or reactive. Thus, the element can be used for forward sensing or for reverse ground faults in inductors, resistors or resistance networks. The opposite time characteristic allows for time coordination of the elements in the network.
Comprehensive, flexible protection and control for feeder applications Increase system uptime and improve stability through load shedding and transfer schemes Advanced automation features provide customized protection and control solutions Human-machine interface (HMI) with graphic LCD, programmable buttons, and convenient keys for selecting setup menus and submenus Modular pull-out structure reduces replacement time Reduce troubleshooting time and maintenance costs with IEEE 1588 (PTP), IRIG-B and SNTP time synchronization (configured with two different SNTP masters), event reporting, waveform capture and data logger Simplify system integration, support serial and Ethernet interfaces, and communicate with multiple protocols Embedded IEC ® 61850 protocol (and support version 2) IEC 60870-5-103/104, IEC 62439/PRP/HSR, IEEE 802.1D/RSTP Proven interoperability and KEMA 61850 2nd Edition certification Applications Main feeder for solidly grounded, high-impedance grounded or resonantly grounded systems Protection or backup protection and control Bus lockout/interlocking schemes Arc flash high-speed fault detection Interchange plans (Bus Interchange Plan Request Form) Load shedding schemes based on voltage and frequency factors
