Glentek is an influential high-tech enterprise in the United States that develops and manufactures brushed and brushless DC servo motors and drives. It is located in Los Angeles, a western city in the United States, and has a history of 40 years. Its products are mostly used in CNC machine tools, semiconductor equipment, and military equipment.

Glentek drives have three structural forms, which are convenient for selection in different applications: independent, modular, and multi-axis; there are two types according to the drive motor form: brushed DC servo drive and brushless servo drive; according to different application occasions: full-function OMEGA series, analog control series, SynQnet series, linear brush series, linear brushless series; there are two types of power supply: DC power supply (low-voltage DC and high-voltage DC), AC power supply (single or three-phase 110/220AC); output current 4A to 120A, can drive 30W to 30Kw servo motors.

The feedback received includes: rotary encoder, rotary transformer, linear grating scale, Hall, motor temperature, tachometer, etc.; the output current is 4A to 120A, and the servo motors that can be driven include: DC brush servo motor, brushless servo (AC servo) motor, linear motor, voice coil motor, spindle motor, torque motor, etc.

Standalone
The standalone drive includes an amplifier module, DC power supply, with regenerative braking resistor, closing current limit protection when power is on, fuse, and drives above 1KW also have one or more cooling fans. This type is particularly suitable for single-axis or multi-axis applications.

Modular
The module includes an amplifier module without DC power supply. This type is mainly used for applications such as customers provide their own DC power supply, forced air cooling device and regenerative resistor.

Multi-axis
The multi-axis type includes an open frame base with a DC power supply, with a regenerative braking resistor, closing current limit, protection, fuse and cooling fan when the power is turned on. According to the number of axes controlled by the equipment, 2-axis, 3-axis, and 4-axis modular drives can be installed on the base.
The advantages of this structure: saving installation space, easy wiring, installation and maintenance, customers can provide the power module themselves.
