(Always ensure the motor is connected correctly and the mechanical system is safe before powering on.)

A. Power On & Initial Monitoring

1. Apply power to the inverter. The display will typically show status information.

2. Use the MODE or arrow keys to cycle through display modes to monitor output frequency (Hz), output current (A), DC bus voltage (V), etc.5.

B. Simple Keyboard Operation

1. Ensure control is set to LOCAL (keypad) mode. (This may require setting a parameter or pressing a LOCAL/REMOTE key).

2. Use the arrow keys or a dedicated potentiometer (if available) to set the desired speed or frequency.

3. Press the FWD or REV key to start the motor in the chosen direction.

4. Press the STOP/RESET key to stop the motor.

C. External Control Setup (Example: Using a Potentiometer)

1. Wire a potentiometer to the inverter's analog voltage input terminal (e.g., +10V, AI, 0V).

2. Wire a switch (e.g., a maintained selector switch) to a digital input terminal configured for "Forward Start".

3. In the inverter parameters:

   • Set the command source to "External" or "Terminal".

   • Set the frequency reference source to the analog input you used.

4. Switch the control mode to REMOTE. The inverter will now be controlled by the external potentiometer and switch.
