Parameter 1: Module power consumption: mainly refers to the module's consumption capacity for 5V power supply and 24V power supply.
(1) 5V power consumption: The 5V power supply is supplied to the module by the CPU through the I/O bus cable. The 5V power supply cannot be supplemented or expanded by an external power supply. We need to calculate the sum of the 5V power consumption of all S7-200 digital modules to ensure that it does not exceed the CPU's 5V power supply capacity.
(2) 24V power consumption: Some S7-200 digital modules require 24V power supply for power supply, digital input points and output points. The 24V power supply can be provided by the 24V DC sensor output power supply of the CPU module, or an external 24V DC power supply can be added. Usually, we need to calculate the 24V power consumption of the S7-200 digital module to ensure that it does not exceed the power supply quota of the CPU module or select a 24V power supply module with the correct capacity.
