The signals collected by the S7-200 analog input channels are represented by values between 0 and 32000 and stored in AIW.
That is to say, there is a certain proportional conversion relationship between this value and the actual physical quantity.
1). In STEP7 Micro/WIN software (S7-200 programming software), a software filtering function is set for the analog input channel, as shown in the figure. For details, please refer to "S7-200? LOGO? SITOP Reference" -> System Block-Analog Filter.
However, when setting the analog channel filtering in the system block, the analog channels occupied by the RTD and TC modules should be disabled.
(2) Both the EM231 TC and RTD modules have a 24V power indicator and an SF fault indicator. As shown in the figure: (a)

If the sensor is a thermal resistor or thermocouple, and the output signal is directly connected to the analog input, a special temperature measurement module needs to be selected. The temperature measurement module is divided into the thermal resistor module EM231RTD and the thermocouple module EM231TC. Note: Different signals should be connected to the corresponding modules, such as: thermal resistor signals should use EM231RTD, but not EM231TC. And the input type of the same module should be consistent, such as: Pt1000 and Pt100 cannot be used on the same thermal resistor module at the same time.

A. Ordinary analog input module:
If the analog quantity output by the sensor is a voltage or current signal (such as ±10V or 0~20mA), you can choose an ordinary
analog input module and select the input signal range by setting the dip switch. Note: According to the standard wiring,
try to use the channel sequence on the module (A->D), and the channel without signal should be short-circuited. For details, please refer to
Appendix A-Introduction to Analog Modules in the "S7-200 Programmable Controller System Manual".
4AI EM231 module:
First, the analog input module can select the signal range by setting the dip switch. The switch setting is applied to the entire module. A module can only be set to one measurement range, and the switch setting can only take effect after power is turned on again. That is to say, once the dip switch setting is determined, the range of these four channels is also determined. As shown in the following table: Note: The dip switch settings of 0~5V and 0~20mA (4~20mA) in the table are the same, that is, when the dip switch is set to this, the signal range of the input channel can be 0~5V or 0~20mA. 8AI EM231 module: 8AI EM231 module, channels 0->5 can only be used for voltage input, and only channels 6 and 7 can be used for current input. Use dip switches 1 and 2 to set them: when sw1=ON, channel 6 is used for current input; when sw2=ON, channel 7 is used for current input. (1) CPU 224 XP integrates 2 voltage inputs. The wiring method is shown in a: A+ and M, B+ and M respectively. At this time,

CPU 224XP also integrates 1 analog output signal. For current output, as shown in Figure b, connect the load between the I and M terminals; for voltage output, as shown in Figure c, connect the load between the V and M terminals.
2) Wiring method for analog input
Taking the 4AI EM231 module as an example, the wiring methods for voltage and current input signals are introduced respectively, as shown in the figure.
Note: This wiring diagram is a schematic diagram, which describes different wiring methods. It does not mean that only the A channel of this module can be connected to voltage, the B channel must be left floating, and the C and D channels can only be connected to current.
When your signal is a voltage input, you can refer to the wiring method a, and so on.
Method a. Voltage input method: positive signal is connected to A+; negative signal is connected to A-;
Method b. Unused channel connection method (do not leave it floating): unused channels need to be short-circuited, such as short-circuiting B+ and B-;
Method c. Current input method (four-wire system): positive signal is connected to C+, and C+ is short-circuited with RC;
Negative signal is connected to C-, and C- is short-circuited with the M terminal of the module.
Method d. Current input method (two-wire system): The signal line is connected to D+, and D+ is short-circuited with RD;
The M terminal of the power supply is connected to D-, and is short-circuited with the M terminal of the module.

If you do not want to obtain compensation for the 6SE7042-1WN84-1CF0 adapter board, simply jumper pins 3-4 and pins 5-6 on the front switch.
